Journey to the Centre of the Christmas Pudding (Arise Ministries) £5
A two-hour Christmas event for 7-11s that is divided into four sections that can be used consecutively or incorporated into 4 regular club sessions and that cover Christmas is a True Story, Jesus is Born, Jesus is Special, We can know God.
It is designed for use in schools or church - particularly as a special, outreach event in the lead up to Christmas.
Each section contains a Bible story, a couple of activities and a time for discussion.

The Christmas Journey (Moira Curry and Gill Morgan, Barnabas) RRP £7.99
Create six storytelling 'rooms' and then groups move round the rooms in sequence - the creation story, Mary's kitchen, shepherds' hillside, Bethlehem stable, wise man's palace, modern-day sitting room (to reflect on the final weeks of Jesus's life and the concept that the Chistmas story is only the start of God's rescue plan for the world.
Sue says: This will involve considerable work and the aim is to encourage several local schools to bring their Year 2 children to the experience.
