How to be more effective

Using prepared programmes for aspects of your children’s ministry means that you can draw on the extensive expertise of the authors. They will ensure that you are provided with appropriate sessions in terms of Bible content and learning opportunities for children.

However there will also be times when you want to put your own session together, or need an idea to supplement a prepared programme.

Different settings and activities will require different strategies and resources, but in any setting there are appropriate and effective ways of telling stories and using music, drama, games, crafts etc that will connect with children and help them learn.
