Season Themes: Following God’s Plan / A Heart for God - Stories from 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel and 1 Kings
Sessions 1-6: Following God's Plan These sessions focus on people whose heart was for God. As their stories unfold, children see the distractions and difficulties encountered and how these affected their commitment to God. Through a variety of different ways, including fun, drama, music, games and more serious thought, children are encouraged to accept God’s unique plan for them as individuals within his purposes, and choose to trust God and follow his leading.

Sessions 7-12: A Heart for God Children learn that when we follow God’s plan, although there may be hardships and dangers, he will take care of us and work out his plans through us. Children are helped to an understanding of God’s love and faithfulness, which are clearly shown, and enabled to take steps forward in obedience. The memory verses, taught in different, memorable ways, are especially helpful as children begin to work out their dependence on God and his Word.
